Catalog of patterns for unnamed, unknown, or unusual streamers of Carrie G. Stevens
This catalog contains tying patterns and my dressings of the 180 or so unnamed, unknown, or unusual streamer patterns created by Carrie G. Stevens. Carrie Stevens was a renowned fly tyer from Upper Dam, Maine, in the early part of the 20th century. These patterns are the result of my research since 2013. Named streamer fly patterns attributed to Carrie Stevens may be found in Hilyard’s book Carrie G. Stevens Maker of Rangeley Favorite Trout and Salmon Flies*.
The full set of unnamed, unknown, or unusual streamers is best explored by clicking on the image or collection name below, or by selecting from “Catalog of Patterns” in the navigation menu on the top of each web page on this site. From any collection page, one can also navigate through the catalog using the next/previous links at the bottom of each collection page. Selecting a pattern on the resulting collection page brings the viewer to the pattern page for that fly. Similarly, from any pattern page, one can navigate through that collection using the next/previous links at the bottom of each pattern page.
