Pattern Note:  Unusual body -not floss but silk thread
Similar to, but not the same fly, in figure on page 99 of Hilyard's Carrie Stevens book. Appears in Forgotten Flies (Schmookler/Sils p 334) labeled as "Nine-three", and a rendition by Marcelo Morales on p 369 #85 as "Nine-three Custom #2", but with pale green throat, and recipe indicates green floss with gold rib.
